Google Brian kindly helped us out when a crank fell off on our loop of the transnevada, fitting us in straight away and providing a fix which held for the rest of the trip. He spent a long time chatting to us about alternative routes and giving us the knowledge and confidence to try the valeta pass which was awesome. Thanks Brian

Google Fantastic, is the best word to describe Brian and his attitude towards potential and actual customers. Brian just wants his customers to have the best day out on his bikes cycling through the Sierra Nevada.
We had just the best day out cycling from Capileira to Travelez, the ebikes we hired were just great and Brian provided all the essential back up gear should we have needed it.
The terrain is just brilliant and you can see why this mountainous area attracts mountain bikers of all abilities.
Brian’s skills as a competition mountain biker exude his persona and this location is a must for any mountain biker to test there skills and stamina.
I recommend any mountain bike manufacturers to contact Brian and take some of your bikes out there and test them to their limit. Testing new equipment here will challenge your design team to keep on improving and innovating bike design.
Brian thank you once again for being just the best sort of owner of a mountain bike hire and repair centre.

Google I had borrowed a bike and when I tried to lower the saddle it didn't move at all. I tried to loosen it myself and damaged it even more. Also the rear brake wasn't braking very good. When I arrived at the shop they told me they would try to do their best to fix it as soon as possible. It took a while till I got a whatsapp that I could pick up the bike, but that was alright, because they told me up front that they were busy. When picking up the bike again it was explained to me what was repaired and how, very detailed. The price was not high compared to what they had done to the bike. I am very happy with it! Thanks!

Google I was really happy with the service and support from Brian and Lynn. I hired a bike for one day and it was in great condition and they provided me with all the information I needed to be able to have a care free fun day on the bike. Would recommend to a friend and hope to go back and see them again.

Google I had a great experience with Alpujarra bikes. The owners were very helpful and friendly, answering all of my emails and questions swiftly (which were a lot, since I didn’t know what to expect about the region). The bike I ended up renting was a 29” MSC Alu XC 2018, looked brand new and was a great ride. Riding in the Alpujarras is beautiful and you can get to very high altitudes. If you’re more into a little bit of action I’d recommend renting an enduro/downhill bike because of the crazy amount of single trails available. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended.

Google Needed my wheel trued and gears looked at, whilst going round the Sierra Nevada. Thought, fantastic only a little detour no problem. Called on Monday, no reply. Called Tuesday morning from Orgavie, no reply. Checked website, should be open, they are just busy. Cycle up to Bubion. SHOP CLOSED!!

Sorry that it has taken me so long to respond to your comments, I haven't really known how to respond. I am sorry that we were closed when you came to visit. During the quieter months of the year we are on reduced hours, we had posted this information on our web-site, but my updates to google were a bit late getting made. I am so sorry that were closed and so unable to help you. We will always try to help cyclists passing through, putting them ahead of other repairs we have in the shop to get them going to continue on their journey when we can. You can see this from all our other very positive reviews. I can understand your anger having made the cycle up, though we are disappointed to receive such a bad review from someone that hasn't even stepped inside the shop. I hope the rest of your journey went well and have now made sure that any change in our opening hours is reflected in all our social media posts.
