I bought the Legend Milano 2016 in Nov 2015 when it first came out. I had nothing but trouble with it. The handlebars kept coming loose. The plastic casing the battery sits in kept cracking. The frame broke due to a missing weld and the battery failed at less than 1000 kilómetros. The poor quality tyres punctured regularly.
I was told before I bought the Legend Milano that Rubio had an onsite mechanic but just a few weeks after I bought it the bike had to be sent back to Barcelona to have a complete new frame fitted.
Over the following few weeks I had to make several trips back to Rubio with various niggling faults as mentioned previously, none of which they resolved successfully. Then the final straw at just over 920 kilometers the battery started to fail and I again returned to Rubio. They said that the battery was charged and ok but it wasn't and I went back to Rubio where they ask me for €60 to return it to Barcelona to be checked. I gave up at this point even though the guarantee was still in force and decided to rectify everything myself including the battery. The only design fault I have not been able to rectify is the continual cracking of the plastic casing the battery sits in. I have resolved this by charging the battery in situ on the bike. Very disappointing and frustrating.
