Tussen 22 en 29 decenber 2025 een mooie, moderne Cannondale racefiets gehuurd voor 7 dagen met goede velgen en brede banden. Bijna 550 km probleemloos schakelen met bijna 10.000 hoogtemeters. Erg goed en professioneel geholpen in de winkel bij het Gloria Palace Hotel. Graag tot een volgende keer!

Kristel is amazing!

This Free Motion hire store is located within the grounds of the Gloria Palace hotel in San Agustín. As soon as the doors swing open you’ll be lucky enough to be met by Kristel. From the very outset incredibly welcoming and helpful. Kristel explains in detail the bikes available and sizes etc, the relevant rates and also the guided tours that are also an option. I booked a Cannondale SuperSix Evo. The condition of the bike was excellent. The bike will come with two bottle cages, a saddle tool bag with a spare inner tube, tyre levers and bike tool. Pedals can be added, as can additional extras like Garmin out front mount. I also booked a bike tour called the “Pico Summit Challenge” which was an amazing route from the coast, up to the highest point of the island, at nearly 2,000m above sea level. The views were far and wide, even seeing Mt Teide from the top. For that tour I collected the bike from the San Agustín store, and met the tour group at an other Free Motion store in Palaya De Ingles. Start time around 09:30 and finishing at 3pm.

From start to finish, I can highly recommend using Free Motion company to arrange your bike hire and bike tours in Gran Canaria. A very professional and reliable company, as was Kristel, who made the whole experience as smooth as silk.

Hele fijne partij om een fiets te huren! Omdat ik de fiets een dag van te voren wilde huren moest ik een mail sturen waar ze binnen 15minuten op reageerde met alle concrete vragen en daarna direct een bevestiging voor de reservering ontvangen!

In de winkel zeer goed geholpen met tips qua routes maar ook plekken waar je wat kunt eten of je bidons kunt bijvullen. Fiets was prima (Merida Scultura Endurance 4000) bij de huurprijs zit ook een zadeltasje met reservebanden, bandenlichters en toolsetje. Ook zit er een kleine fietspomp standaard bij!

Als je de tijd en de conditie hebt is Pico de las Nieves echt een aanrader! Met 1950 meter letterlijk het hoogste punt van Gran Canaria!

Ik zou mijn fiets hier volgende keer zonder twijfel huren!!

Wir haben uns Räder für eine Woche geliehen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und die vorherige Buchung/Reservierung über das Internet lief komplett reibungslos. Die Räder waren in gutem Zustand und gut eingestellt. Auch das erhalten von Zubehör wie Licht oder eine Garminhalterung war problemlos möglich.

Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder etwas mieten !

Hatte am Montag eine Tour machen wollen. Da in San Augustin der Shop um 8.30h öffnete und nur eine Person die Gäste (1 Gast) bediete, reiche es mir leider nicht mit der Gruppe beim Shop von Playa les Ingles mit zufahren. (Start Ort der Touren).
Schade dass man dies nicht besser organisieren kann.
Somit musste ich mich selbst organisieren.
Bedienung war freundlich und nett. Jedoch die Abwicklung ist für meinen Geschmack zu aufwending. Es würde mich interessieren wie hoch die Wartezeit wird wenn da sich 10 Personen gleichzeitig anmelden würden.
Die Rennräder in Top.Zustand.
Die alleine gemachte Tour wunderbar.
