Went out with a group ride up to Mirador de Haria with Papagayo Bike Hire. The ride was expertly organised and would easily recommend this company for your cycle rides and hire in Lanzarote.

The bike quality was very good. I hired a mechanical road bike, which was aero, with 105 groupset. Other riders had etap and electric bikes.

We were given a bidon, which we kept, energy bar and isotonic powder before we set off, received a free coffee and cake at the cafe stop. You can see that they really care for you here.

The ride itself was a circular route, going out was into a headwind, but we turned off after 45 minutes and then tackled the Mirador de Haria climb. This was car free really, easy gear all the way, good job I had a 50/34 not the 53/39 I normally use 😅. It took awhile to get to the top, but it was worth it, with just the views alone.

The ride back was a lot quicker, as we had the wind with us. Good job I had disc brakes, think my poor rims would have worn out.

All in all a wonderful group ride, met some really nice people too boot.

Ride with Papagayo Bike Hire, you won't regret it.

Hired a road bike for 12 days which was a good bike in excellent condition new tyres etc. Very reasonable price which includes roadside assistance should you need it which is very reassuring. No insurance option though. Very pleased would use again thank you. Costa Teguise is a good base for cycling with access to all the major routes.

Wir haben uns Citybikes bei Papagayo Bikes am Radisson Blue auf Lanzarote ausgeliehen und waren rundum zufrieden! Der Verleiher war sehr freundlich, der Ablauf schnell und völlig unkompliziert. Preis-Leistung stimmt hier absolut, und die Qualität der Fahrräder war top – gepflegt, komfortabel und gut in Schuss. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die unkompliziert ein gutes Rad mieten wollen!

Tommy è stato una bravissima guida per il nostro tour in MTB per una bella ruta panoramica che inclodeva il Risco di Famara. Abbiamo anche vista una Avutarda (ave difficile da vedere, in quanto in via d'estinzione). Tommy è in formissima ma ha una pacienza d'oro (è una ruta forza lunga!). Potendo, noi la rifaremmo!

These guys were super friendly and helpful. The bike was immaculate and perfectly maintained. It came with pump, spare innertube and bottle cages. . I highly recommend papagayo,if you're staying in Costa teguise. They have all bikes for the various disciplines. Xc, road, commuter, and E bikes. They also sell a vast array of cycling products and sundries that are reasonable priced. In addition they do guided bike tours too. If I do return to lanzarote, I will definitely be using their services again. Top notch! Shout out to Augustine (sorry if ive spelt you're name wrong) , the young fella that works there. Super happy and welcoming. 5 stars 🌟
