Overall, this is a poor bike rental shop. We did not receive the bikes we had rented on site. The product information on the website does not match and the pictures cannot be trusted. The sales pictures show, among other things, carbon wheels, but in reality the bike has heavy aluminum wheels. We tried to get the bikes we originally rented, which we had already paid for, and we emailed the store manager to ask when we could come to the store to pick up the correct bikes, but he didn't respond to us. We also asked the mechanic at the rental shop why we had not been informed that we would not receive the bikes we had rented but some other bikes with inferior parts, to which the mechanic replied rudely that he did not need to inform us of anything.

Hired bikes for 6 days, both massi 105 group set for myself and partner .
Great service, the bikes rode very well. Everyone was very friendly and helpful .
Also helped with routes showing us on the map .
The cafe was very good as well, staff friendly.
Would hire again .

The staff at ProCycle are courteous and enthusiastic, which makes for a pleasant first impression. Unfortunately, the quality control and attention to detail are seriously lacking.

When I picked up my bike, the handlebars and stem hadn’t been tightened properly — a basic safety check that should never be overlooked. Later, after getting a flat tire during a group ride, I discovered that the “repair kit” provided was incomplete: no tools to remove the through axle, no CO₂ cartridge — just two tire levers and a spare tube. If it hadn’t been for a group of Dutch cyclists who happened to pass by, I would’ve been stranded.

To make matters worse, I’m not convinced they properly adjust or inspect the bikes between customers. When I returned mine, I saw them simply attach the next rider’s confirmation tag to the same bike with no visible checks or tuning.

Overall, while the team is friendly, the lack of thoroughness and safety oversight makes me hesitant to recommend ProCycle until they significantly improve their preparation and quality control process.

Great hire of 2 Massi bikes for 3 days with 105 components. Last minute hire and didn't have measurements to hand but guy in the shop didn't mind taking the time to make sure we were properly set up before heading off.

Great shop, bikes were excellent, pick up and drop off was easy. Cassette was changed after first ride for a bigger one on one of our bikes while we had a beer in the Cafe/bar/shop which was also great.

We will definitely be using pro cycle hire on my next visit to Mallorca

I rented a Colgnago V3 disc for ride to Cap de Formentor that was in really great condition. The service was awesome and they were really responsive to my questions ahead of time. I’ll definitely rent from them again.

I recently bought a Massi bike from Pro Cycle Hire and I cannot recommend the team highly enough. Communication and service was great and they arranged to send the bike to me afterwards by courier and there were no issues with the delivery.

As other reviewers have said, the customer service side of the bike business could benefit from somebody with decent social skills. The lady on the bar was lovely.

I had to have three bikes over three days. The first one had a shifter which lost connection regularly, probably due to the mechanic fiddling with the battery before I took the bike out, the second was a temporary replacement, and the third was not the bike I ordered - and I was forced to have the wrong pedals because they hadn’t enough decent ones in stock. The bikes overall were okay.

My issue was when I returned the bike. After being ignored by the mechanic for a while, I managed to get his attention for a moment. I was basically advising him on how to avoid the issues I had with the bikes (i.e. don’t let the older mechanic fiddle with the batteries) when he just shut me down and said how he didn’t have time to talk to me because he was busy. I was ready to look past the issue I had with the bikes and service, but when the person representing the company has the social skills of Jeffrey Dahmer it does affect your outlook somewhat. I’ll look for alternative bike hire shops in the future.

First time cycling In Mallorca & I was recommended Pro-Cycle hire by a friend as their shop was local to where we were staying!

First class service from start to finish from Bruce & his staff. Due to not knowing any routes in Mallorca I chose to ride with Bruce & Lisa on their group shop rides, I was not disappointed, I was made to feel more than welcome by everybody & the three routes we done gave me everything that I needed on good terrain with good distances along with some good elevation which Is what I like.

The bikes I hired were well maintained & rode very well, both bike mechanics were friendly & were more than happy to make any changes that I requested.

For anybody looking to go to Mallorca & are based in Port De Pollensa than I would highly recommend Pro-Cycle Hire & I cant wait to get back out there in October!!!

I was dealing with a personal issue, and Bruce and his team were incredibly understanding and accommodating—adjusting dates and making everything as smooth as possible. Very disappointing and dangerous experience
Group of us hired bikes from procycle, we had numerous issues, one bike was supplied two sizes too small. Another literally had no brakes
Finally one cyclists ended up in hospital with a suspected broken rib and concussion, this was due to a poorly maintained bike which resulted in snapping the chain twice!!
The bike shop was not interested in how or why as we hadn’t taken out the vip membership, nobody was even offered the membership
Was our own responsibility to get the bike back to the shop and the rider back to the hotel
Wouldn’t recommend as they’re far better bike shops in the area

Miserable rude mechanic. 3 bike breakdowns in a group of 10. One of our group crashed due to a chain snapping (chains are clearly a wear item) and the shops response? Charge him for a replacement chain, when they should be at least apologising. Perfect advert for bike boxes.

Pro Cycle Hire is a company that could benefit from being a bit more service-minded and caring more about its customers. Sure, the price for renting a bike is good, but when you get five punctures on the same bike in two days, the response should be different. The last puncture was repaired by the company on-site with the statement that they found nothing wrong. In the morning, without anyone having ridden the bike, it had another puncture. We were finally given a new bike with the explanation that it was easier since they had so much to do.

No apology, and no thanks for choosing them. There’s definitely room for improvement when it comes to customer service and care.
