Very friendly service. The owners are passionate racing cyclists themselves and know what cyclists need. The bike I hired was in very good condition. The owners also offer guided tours several times a week, which are highly recommended.

Something seems to have changed here. The owner was initially very friendly and even delivered the bikes to us, which we appreciated. We had booked two e-bikes for four days. Unfortunately, on the second morning, the chain on one of the bikes snapped. These things can happen, of course, but the follow-up was disappointing.
Communication about collecting the broken bike was very last-minute, which is difficult when you are trying to plan your holiday time. When I returned the chargers and displays personally, I was unexpectedly questioned about an accident that never happened — which felt unnecessary and unpleasant.
The technical fault itself is not necessarily the shop’s fault, but the way the situation was handled left us paying for days we could not use the bike, while also losing valuable holiday time arranging returns.
If nothing had gone wrong, I’m sure the rental would have been fine. But based on how problems were handled, I cannot recommend this experience.

Kwam onverwachts met de vraag of ze ook reparaties doen. Zeer vriendelijk te woord gestaan door Tim. Op de whats app de maat v d band doorgegeven, die was op voorraad. Vlg dag fantastisch geholpen en goed geadviseerd. Stond binnen de kortste keren weer buiten met nieuwe banden voor een zeer aantrekkelijke prijs. Zeer content over proces van a tot z. Wypożyczałem rower szosowy. Rower praktycznie nówka (Merida Scultura). Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielami (bardzo sympatyczni ludzie). Wypożyczalnia organizuje grupowe jazdy kilka razy w tygodniu, więc można dołączyć, jeśli się nie ma innych planów. Serdecznie polecam!

I am a member of a cycling club (NBCC) here in North Co Dublin, Ireland . We recently returned from our cycling club away trip. I was the organiser of this trip. I don't often write reviews but I particularly wanted to write a review of Saskia and Tim at Topbikes as they simply couldn’t have done more for us and the trip was fantastic. They really deserve to do well with their business.
From the first communications with Saskia late last year, to our final day of our trip Saskia and Tim couldn’t have looked after us better. The communications with Saskia was always very easy and prompt, the package they offered was exactly what we were looking for and their cost was competitive. Unlike other larger operators over there, their payments terms were really flexible and reasonable.
We stayed in Cap Negret hotel just outside Altea. Honestly the hotel was FANTASTIC. In fact we all agreed the photos don’t do it justice. Lovely rooms, many with great views, location right on the beach, and most importantly within easy cycling distance of mountains and numerous climbs,. There's a reason the pros stay here! Also - fantastic bike facilities .
There were 27 of us in total of varying skills and fitness levels. We had a number of cycling groups each day, all led by very experienced guides. Saskia and Tim did a fantastic job of organising all the groups, different routes each day, fabulous scenery in the mountains , and for many of us it was the best cycling experience we have had. They even managed to time a coffee stop on the last day so that we bumped into the world road race champion Remco Evenepol!
The bikes were very well fitted to each of us in advance (as per our bike measurements given in advance). Weather was perfect sunny temperatures!. Organisation – 11 out of 10!
Saskia even helped us greatly with booking local restaurants for a few nights as we choose not to eat in the hotel every night as we like to eat outside the hotel for a bit of variety .
I couldn’t recommend Topbikes more. They made my job so easy . I had put in lots of hours researching various providers in the area and getting quotes before contacting them. So if you are a member of a cycling club looking to book a trip in Costa Blanca - save yourself some time and hassle and go straight to Saskia and Tim at Topbikes. You won’t do better!

Oprócz rowerów wypożyczysz tutaj, kaski, oświetlenie do rowerów, oraz linki zabezpieczające przed kradzieżą, by wycieczki były bezpieczne. In trasferta da Alicante ad Altea in giornata abbiamo voluto noleggiare qui le bici per fare un giro nei dintorni. Alla fine siamo rimasti una notte perché merita tantissimo!! Loro sono estremamente gentili e disponibili. Messa in sella super!! bici pulite e perfette 👍🏻 hanno anche degli itinerari da consigliare ma la zona è molto facile e cè molto rispetto per i ciclisti!! grazie e alla prossima!

Amazing service from start to finish.

I'd planned a last minute cycling trip to Altea and when I arrived it became clear my bike I'd brought with me had been damaged in transport! I quickly started looking for places to hire a bike as a backup plan should I not be able to get my bike sorted easily.

I asked locally (Hotel Cap Negret) & they recommended Topbikes, but explained they wouldn't be open until the following day. So that evening I went onto Topbikes website which was super easy use and booked online expecting not to hear anything until the following the day, around 5 minutes after placing the booking I had an email from Patrick confirming he"d seen my request and said he could have the bike ready for me for when they open the following day, The next morning I was met by Miguel who had the bike ready and setup to the specifications I'd requested (stem length, cassette size, bike position, etc) and off I went.

After one ride on my chosen bike I went back to the shop to see if I could swap it for another bike as I saw they also had some Pinarello's and thought I'd like to try one, Miguel happily swapped the bikes over made all the same adjustments on the new bike and while he was doing this I explained about what had happened to my owe bike, Miguel suggested I bring it in for him to have a look at.

less than 24 hours later I'd been informed my own bike had been fixed! I'm now back home and my bike is working better than ever, and have fond memories of a fantastic holiday thanks to Patrick & Miguel.

Really good bikes, great value for price. Polite and really nice service. If you need a rent good bike in area - this is the place! My bike was fitted for me, got map with the rides, owner was flexible with opening hours (my plane got delayed due to fog in London and I was worried I won’t be able to pick up the bike in time). I recommend book bike in advance and call to agree the pick up details.

Hired the pinerello one weekend and the merida on the second weekend. They had both bikes set up perfectly with my own peddles. Excellent friendly bunch of people.
PS. The pinerello is an exceptional bike.

Zeer nette en betrouwbare verhuurder met topmateriaal voor een nette prijs, een echte aanrader!

In de week van kerst en oudjaar 2016 twee Merida Scultura5000 racefietsen gehuurd voor 8 dagen.
Fietsen werden na contact met de zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame Patrick voor de deur van ons appartement in Altea op de afgesproken tijd afgeleverd. Daar werden pedalen en zadel gemonteerd en op juiste hoogte afgesteld. Vervolgens nog een kortere stuurpen gemonteerd. Na 3 proefritjes was alles perfect afgesteld. Patrick nam hiervoor alle tijd.

Op de fietsen was niets op of aan te merken. Zagen er nagenoeg nog nieuw uit, ketting en tandwielen brandschoon en licht ingevet, bandjes en remmen in orde. Na 550km fietsgenot zijn ze wederom op de afgesproken tijd opgehaald. Op Topbikes kunt u vertrouwen en met het geleverde materiaal zorgeloos op pad.

Great bike rental from Patrick and his staff. The bikes are excellent quality and value. We had some comfort adjustments made by Patrick very quickly so we where soon on our way again. We will be back for our third visit soon.
