Unit 1 is phenomenal! Their customer service is top notch, and very responsive. I had an item get lost in the delivery process, and they made sure to make it right. Aside from that, I feel exceptionally safe while you’re using my E bike. All of their items were easy to set up and pair. I look “super cool” and SAFE with my coordinating aura helmet with AirTag holder, winter liner, bug net, adaptive visor, and turn signal remote.

Amazing helmets and accessories loads of options light adjustments and controlling modes for helmet the turn signals defentaly save life's!. Had a problem with helmet nothing major but a defected mode but then had a genuinely outstanding experience with UNIT 1’s customer service recently. Valentina Orellana went above and beyond to help me out—handling everything with care, speed, and real attention to detail. She made sure my helmet was replaced without any hassle, and there was also a gesture of goodwill included that was brilliant and something I honestly didn’t expect to be able to get. That kind of effort speaks volumes.

Valentina deserves full credit for the hard work—she really took ownership and made sure everything was sorted. When she was off, her manager Mia picked up on her emails just to let me know things were on track and to reassure me that all feedback was being passed back to Valentina so she got the recognition she was due. Mia was polite and professional, and it was clear the whole team cared.

I've been using the UNIT 1 FARO helmet along with the remote for left and right signaling, and overall, I’m very impressed with the product.

While the FARO helmet feels slightly heavier at first compared to a regular helmet, this is completely understandable given its advanced features and integrated detection system. Once in regular use, the weight becomes barely noticeable, and it feels just as comfortable and well-balanced as any standard helmet.

The helmet is stylish, sturdy, and thoughtfully designed. The lighting system is powerful, highly visible, and includes multiple modes that are extremely useful in various riding conditions. The turn signal remote pairs easily and functions smoothly, adding a strong layer of safety for urban and nighttime riding. The magnetic rim is secure and doesn’t feel like it would detach unintentionally.

Customer support from UNIT 1 has been excellent—responsive, helpful, and genuinely customer-focused. It’s one of the best support experiences I’ve had.

A small suggestion for improvement: It would be helpful if the system allowed users to add local emergency contact numbers, such as Nepal’s emergency services, which are not currently integrated. Also, please consider including Nepal and other peripheral or semi-peripheral countries in the helmet's system and country list. FARO helmets are now being used globally—not just in core countries—so adding these options would make the product even more inclusive and user-friendly.

Overall, I feel much safer with the FARO helmet and would purchase it again. Highly recommended for safety-conscious riders everywhere.

I got my Neon Helmet and I love it. Unit 1 also has great customer support which I really appreciated ! I got a unit1 remote that wasn’t working properly and within hours of contacting their support they sent a new one. I’ve set it up now and it is great! Would recommend

I own three generations of UNIT1 helmets—Faro, Aura, and Neon—and have seen consistent improvements in design, weight, and functionality. The latest Neon is lightweight and offers advanced safety features like an NFC emergency tag, making city cycling safer. Aura works well for various types of cycling. Customer service is outstanding, always responding within 24 hours and resolving issues promptly. The company's leadership shows in their strong product quality and vision. Ich habe seit ca. 3 Jahren den Faro Helm von UNit 1. Leider hat jetzt die Elektronik versagt. Obwohl ich den Helm in einem Fahrradshop gekauft habe und die Garantie schon vorbei war, habe ich den Support von Unit 1 angeschrieben. Ich bekam sofort eine Antwort mit detailliert beschrieben Lösungsvorschlägen. Leider führten diese nicht zum gewünschten Erfolg. Nachdem feststand, dass wir den Helm nicht mehr “zum Leuchten” bringen, hat Ana vom Support ein tolles Angebot für einen neuen Helm gemacht. Ich durfte das Modell sogar frei wählen und habe mich für den Aura (wird schon von meiner Frau benutzt) entschieden. Danach wurde ich schnell und unkompliziert durch den besonderen Bestellprozess geführt und nun ist er schon unterwegs. Ich habe selten so einen tollen Kundenservice erlebt, schon gar nicht nach Ablauf der Garantie. Wir haben unsere Helme damals als Kickstarter Aktion gekauft und waren ein bisschen skeptisch, ob es im Problemfall Hilfe gibt. Das können wir klar mit einem Ja beantworten. Die Unterstützung ist absolut Premium, genauso wie die Helme. Vielen Dank Ana und Supportteam

I have been using my AURA helmet now for about 3 months or so and I love it! It feels great and the construction is superior to any other helmet I've used to date. I had some minor issues with pairing the helmet with the remote right out of the box, but I scheduled a call with Ana in customer service and she helped me fix it! EXCELENT customer service - I would not hesitate to recommend this helmet to anyone!

Since the first time I noticed their product at the early start of the company on Kickstarter, I knew I would purchase it. Certainly, I did, my latest orders with Aura helmet, Sparky helmet and Unit1 remote control definitely prove my trust and belief in the quality, comfort and design of the same. I own the Aura helmet and Smart Lights, and the Remote is incredibly useful. Being able to control light signaling and the brake light feature makes riding feel easier and safer. The remote power feature is my favorite, turning all my Unit 1 gear on and off with one button just makes everything so much more convenient.

I backed the Unit 1 Aura Helmet on Kickstarter, and it’s been one of those rare tech purchases that actually delivers on the promise. The integration between the helmet and the Unit 1 lights is seamless — it’s like riding with a personal safety system instead of just a helmet. The tech has been rock-solid, the battery life impressive, and the visibility in low light is next-level.

I also picked up a Sparky helmet for my daughter, and she absolutely loves it. It’s lightweight, well-ventilated, and she actually wants to wear it. Between the design, comfort, and safety features, it’s been a total win for both of us.

I recently bought the Aura helmet, I was looking for a better than average helmet that had more sophisticated safety features, and I have found that in the aura helmet. The lights are very bright, but not intrusive. I also added the turn signal accessory as well as the clear shield. I love them both. The other draw to this helmet was that it is rated for the higher speeds of EBikes, which is what I have. Oh, I almost forgot another fantastic feature is that you can set up an emergency contact should you have a crash. I love that. If you think your head is worth the price of the helmet, I highly recommend it.

I was an early contributor to the kickstarter campaign for unit 1's second helmet, the Aura. It took a while but was well worth the wait! I'm now on my second helmet from them, after the first saved my noggin in a crash. Never mind that it has lights, it's rated #17 out of the 281 helmets tested by Virginia Tech this year. But I do love the lights, because even when I forget to bring my front or rear bike lights, I've got something illuminating me.

Can I give them ten stars? I am a new bike rider and safety was paramount in the gear I chose. After watching a ton of very positive reviews on the Aura helmet, I got it, but then surrounded it with all the other excellent Unit 1 gear (lights, etc.). Had a couple of hiccups with the lights and wrote in. Enter Valentina - a remarkable, very present, patient person who walked me through everything both in email and one video conference. These guys talk the talk and walk the walk. If you're looking for high quality stuff for your ride and customer service to back it all, Unit 1 is it.

I have the unit 1 backpack and the Faro helmet. For convenience sake I would like to review rhe entire unit 1 ecosystem.
This is the perfect backpack for bikers. It is made of a canvas like material that is very easy to clean and totally waterproof. It has a dry compartment at the bottom that I use to store my lunch and nothing whatsoever leaks into the main compartment. There are many pockets on the sides suitable for left and right handed individuals. I like the magnetic snap on light. It is absolutely awesome when I ride with it. Everyone can see me biking a 200 feet away. When I couple this with my Faro helmet with its customizable light patterns, I feel very visible and safe. Moreover it is MIPS certified and has a crash alert notification system as well. The super cool part is that when I use the turn signal that comes with the helmet , the lights in my backpack and my helmet also indicate my turning direction.
The backpacks comes with a free tech pouch and a padded laptop compartment. I had a problem with a missing tech pouch and their customer service immediately responded and sent me one. Top notch service. I would sincerely recommend the backpack and helmet. I have placed them in hospital closets and other places and have always been able to clean them well. The strap for attaching your helmet to the backpack is very useful. The only drawback is that the hel.et is pricey but you get the quality you pay for!
