10 years of summer holiday in Altafulla and never experienced such an awkward and disappointing customer experience…
We had pre-booked 5 electric bicycles for 10:00 am - which is actually the official opening time of Altafun. For that and to be on time, we had to wake up 3 teens at 9:00 am. In front the shop at 9:55am, we waited until 10:30 am before the guy opens the shop. Before that, we were hearing some music + a guy singing inside the store, behind the store curtain. When the guy finally showed up at 10:30am, he was super mad and asked us (threatened us is more accurate) if we had knocked on the store curtain. After “confessing” we actually did knock to warn him we were waiting, he turned totally mad. He shouted at us saying he was working and we were on holiday (indeed, we are working all along the year to be able to leave on summer holiday 3 weeks in Spain), that he had spent a bad night and accused us to be disrespectful by knocking on the curtain. When I told him we had booked the bikes at 10:00 am, came the day before the confirm the reservation time and that 10:30 am would have been totally okay if we had been aware earlier, he became out of control: he literally pushed us out from the store (physically) and told us to go back to France - on top of that, he insulted me in Catalan. So definitely an awful experience and probably unfortunately some drug or alcohol addiction issue for this guy who has trouble running a store when even has trouble to correctly treating his own dog. A real shame as the real manager I had exchanged with via Whatsapp seemed rather customer-friendly… Even if he never called back after I reported this serious bad experience.

Vielen Dank für den super Service. Ein toller Fahrradverleih! Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Leihrad in meinem Urlaub in Altafulla und habe "Altafun" entdeckt. Dort konnte ich ein super E-Bike mieten, mit Satteltaschen, Helm, Handyhalterung, Blinker. Eine tolle Fahrerfahrung. Es war das erste Mal, dass ich E-Bike gefahren bin. Das Rad war in einem super Zustand. Alles einwandfrei! Technik hat super funktioniert. Ich konnte mit dem tollen Rad meine Mobilität erheblich erhöhen, die wegen aktuter Kniebeschwerden sonst vor Ort stark eingeschränkt gewesen wäre. Danke schön!!! Jederzeit gerne wieder.
