We had an absolutely incredible experience with BikeCat Cycling Tours in Girona! From the moment we arrived, Jaume and Debbie made us feel like family. Their warm hospitality set the tone for the entire trip, and everything was so thoughtfully organized.

The guides, including Jaume himself, were outstanding — knowledgeable, encouraging, and full of passion for cycling in this beautiful region. They made every ride both challenging and fun, while also sharing local insights that brought Girona to life.

The house we stayed in was wonderful, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax after rides. The cooks prepared amazing meals that fueled our days and felt like home-cooked perfection.

Lunches and a few dinners out in carefully chosen local spots were another highlight — every restaurant was fantastic and showcased the incredible food culture of Girona.

Overall, this was the trip of a lifetime. If you’re considering a cycling tour in Spain, I cannot recommend BikeCat highly enough. Jaume, Debbie, and the entire team go above and beyond to make sure it’s an unforgettable experience! 🚴‍♂️

From Singapore to Girona, this year, WWCC decided to venture to Europe for its annual cycling vacation.
All 17 of us were well taken care of by Jaume and the Team, from the moment we arrived from Barcelona Airport and throughout our days in Girona.
Jaume, Debbie, Josep, Jordi, Eudald & Nick were very professional with their support during our 6 rides around Girona, which also involved the Craziest routes we chose, like Rocacorba and the Mare de Deu Del Mont, ensuring we rode safely and fueled well, reminiscing the snacks tray and the fresh fruits whenever we had a quick stop.
They also made an excellent choice of the lunch and dining venues, ensuring we experience the various Spanish and Catalan cuisines.
Big kudos to the team; it will be the talk of our Cycling group for the whole year due to all the fantastic experiences we had.

I just finished my second bike tour with Bikecat. It was a fantastic experience as it was last time. They take care of everything which gave me peace of mind. So it felt like a real vacation. Because of local knowledge you get to know the area you are touring including great food at places you could never find on my own. We drove on roads where there was very little, if any, traffic. Our guides were really nice people who were very good at their jobs. I give this tour bike company my highest recommendation

Absolutely fantastic! My family along with our friend's family (four teenagers in total!) cycled for 8 days in August in the road bike dreamland of Girona. Everything was planned to perfection: routes (almost no cars), local accommodations (organic farms), friendly guides and even E-bikes to keep the family together. Can not say enough how BIKECAT made it an incredible vacation.

My Ann Arbor cycling brothers and I have travelled the world on incredible adventures for more than 25 years. We just returned from our sixth tour with Bikecat since 2013. It was like a family reunion, going back to our home away from home in Catalonia with Jaume, Debbie, Jordi, Josep and the Bikecat crew being like family to us. Jaume and his crew have raised the bar so high, it's hard to adequately describe the joy of cycling and touring with them, whether in and around Girona, along the Costa Brava, up in the Pyrenees or all the way to San Sebastian! They challenge us, keep us safe, arrange sumptuous meals with great companionship, and nurture our passion for adventure cycling and travel! They are simply the best in the business! Can't wait until next year!

My wife and I spent a summer week riding a custom tour with Bikecat and had a terrific time. From the diverse terrain, to the beautiful scenery, to the genuine thought and care that went into all of it, it was a week we will never forget.

Jaume, his wife Debbie, and fellow guide Josep were wonderful, not only in planning and leading the rides, but also in providing support before, during, and after them.

They rotate through either leading the group, driving the SAG van, or taking custom photographs from key vantage points. They begin the day by meeting you as you finish breakfast at your hotel. The bikes are prepared before they lead the group out. The rides can be altered to to your wishes, and either extended or cut short as desired. If the group chooses to end the day’s ride, as we did, in a beautiful restaurant on the Mediterranean coast, then everyone is comfortably transported back to the hotel. On other days the rides begin and end at the hotel. Within each, there are stops for both coffee and lunch at some great spots.

Mechanical support, water, and nutrition are immediately provided at any point if necessary.

Girona’s terrain is so varied, that no two rides are the same. We rode seven out of eight days, with a day off the bikes mid-week.

Girona is of course known as one of the finest cycling cities and areas in the world, but what set this trip apart, was the personalized touch that each member of the Bikecat team works to provide.

All have a tremendous sense of pride in the city and Catalon region, and that adds a great deal to the experience. From historical and cultural knowledge, to the selection of restaurants and advice about attractions when off the bike, Jaume, Debbie, and Josep go above and beyond.

This was far more than a cycling vacation.

Could not recommend BikeCat more highly. We didn’t do a full tour (only 3 of us for 5 days), but Jaume, Debbie, and the whole team helped curate an amazing trip for our group. We rented bikes - high quality, clean, perfectly tuned and set-up for our measurements before we arrived; it made us feel like pros :) - and they gave us routes for the best rides in the area. We even had them provide guides for a few days plus a van ride up to the base of the Pyrenees so we could do a day in the mountains. Highly recommend cycling in Girona in general and BikeCat more specifically.

The routes are expertly crafted to bike on low traffic and high pavement quality roads. The pictures that Jaume and Debbie capture are magazine quality. The meals all had amazing food. Lovely shop with the finest fleet of rental bikes so you don't need to bring your own. I rented a bike and had 1 of their guides Josep take me on a ride. Josep delivered the bike to me as we are staying about 10 minutes out Girona. My bike was a Orbea Orca with e sifting and was like new and equipped with 2 bidons of water and a computer mount. Josep knew that i had some mobility issues due to my having a stroke a year ago as well as this was my first road bike ride since then.
Despite having some difficulties getting going he stayed calm and patient and we finally got underway. He understood that I was an experienced rider and was 77 years old so we took a lovely mellow route through rolling hills with very little traffic stopping for a coffee at a lakeside cafe .
I just can’t say enough about Joseph as a guide and good and caring person. Everything about Bikecat is first class as is its owner Jaune and Josep my guide.

Bikecat's staff/riders are super strong, friendly and helpful -- on the bike and off. Jaume and the team at Bikecat were absolutely amazing for bike rental and guided tour around Girona. The bikes were excellent quality and Jaume’s knowledge and experience of the local region made for a couple of stunning rides tailored to our needs and abilities. And even when not out on a ride, the Bikecat shop provides a comfortable place to hang out and admire all the trinkets that have been collected over the years. Absolutely loved it and cannot wait to head back there again for another tour.

THESE FOLKS ARE THE BEST!!! Our group did a one week trip in the Girona and Costa Brava area. We've done several other cycling tours and can confidently say that BikeCat deserves all of the great reviews! Every aspect of the trip was well organized and constructed to maximize the guest experience. The rides were well laid out and captured some of the most beautiful views ever! And the support on the ride was flawless in every way. Rental bike equipment was top notch and underwent daily maintenenace and checks.
The guides were great and found ways to engage with everyone in the group. Accommodations were terrific and BikeCat literally thought of everything including making a masseuse available on a daily basis! Jaume and team are also "foodies" who choose great restaurants to insure that everyone is well fed!
And a photographer was on all the rides to capture some great lasting memories for everyone.
Once again, these folks are just the best and I give my highest possible recommendation.
