Je kunt een e bike de hele dag huren voor 40 euro. Ik huurde voor een zondag en Luis kwam speciaal naar de winkel. Retourneren super flexibel. Geen borg, geen gedoe met ID enz. Fiets is prima, ondersteuning is niet mega krachtig.

Oskar, Luis and Fredy are the best! The bikes, whether ebikes or high-end road bikes (we rented both), are excellent. Our family of six adults did an ebike gastronomy tour with Oskar. We learned so much about San Sebastian, the Basque culture, and enjoyed a stunningly beautiful ride up a mountain with ocean views, that culminated with an amazing lunch at a a cider. And, yes, we enjoyed some delicious ciders! Thank you to the Basque Country Cycling team. This was our second visit to San Sebastian that included bike rentals and guided tours with BCC. It's a "can't-miss" if you're visiting San Sebastian and love cycling.

ロードバイクでJaizkibelを登りました。いつもロードレースのテレビ中継で見ていたヒルクライムを体験できたのはとても貴重でした。Oskarさんのガイドは最高でした。ロードバイクのセッティングを手際よく行ってもらい出発できました。Jaizkibelを下って、パサイアの街では自転車を渡し船に積んで川を渡る体験はここでしかできないでしょう。店に戻っておしゃれなチームジャージを購入しました。お気に入りのジャージの一つになりました。

We had an amazing experience with Basque Country Cycling. We contacted Luiz about helping us organize a self-guided cycling trip from Bilbao to San Sebastian. He was the one of only a few tour operators that got back to us following our initial request and remained in daily contact with us throughout the trip. He coordinated, recommend and provide perfect bikes, bike packing gear, delivery of bikes to our hotel in Bilbao, and transport of our extra luggage to San Sebastian. On top of that, he provided us with daily GPX files, highlighting tailored distances, elevations, and points of interest that made our 4 day ride, amazing. Communication was excellent and the service was second to none. Would highly recommend if you are looking for either a guided or self-guided adventure. Both Luiz and Oscar are superstars!

We had an excellent experience renting bikes from Basque Country Cycling. The whole process was super smooth and uncomplicated. The bikes were in great condition and came with everything we needed: helmets, tools, water bottles and SPD pedals.

Luis was incredibly kind and welcoming! He came in early just for us to set up the bikes and make sure everything was adjusted perfectly. He also gave us helpful tips for our planned route as well as great advice for our stay in San Sebastián in general.

Returning the bikes was just as easy, thanks to the key box system which meant we weren’t tied to the shop’s opening hours - we could simply leave the bikes back inside.

Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Absolutely recommended to anyone looking to rent race bikes in the area. A clear 10/10!

Went on the 4 hour bike tour “caressing the sea” that ended up being 5 hours of incredible fun, gorgeous sights and climbs. Manageable for everyone in our group of 4 with a range of quality e bikes and regular road bikes. Could not recommend a ride with these guys more! Luis, mil gracias de Nuevo!!!!

My wife and I just had the pleasure of doing the "Caressing the Sea" tour with Oskar. It was the highlight of our vacation to Spain and definitely ranks with my favorite travel experiences I've had to date. We both rented bikes which were paid for separately, I opted for a normal road bike and my wife went for an e-bike, both worked very well and were perfectly sized for us. Oskar was incredibly friendly and such a cool guy, very knowledgeable about the area we were riding in and had multiple route ideas depending on what we were looking for out of our ride, tailored perfectly for the expected hot weather and was flexible with the start time to try and beat the heat as much as possible.

We ended up riding from San Sebastian out to Zumaia and back. The way there we climbed up Monte Igueldo which was about 1,000 ft of gain over 9 miles. around 5% avg grade with some steeper bits mixed in. Was a good but comfortable challenge for me, and my wife who's less comfortable cycling appreciated the e-bike and had no problems with the climb at all. Views along the way and at the top were fantastic and so worth it. The rest of the ride went along the beautiful Basque coastline, before we looped back along the Oria Ibaia which was much flatter than the way we started the ride, perfectly timed as it got warmer. Stopped for a Pintxo and a cappucino in Zarautz on the way back.

I highly recommend this company and the "caressing the sea" tour to everyone. I loved it so much I am considering coming back and doing one of their custom tours out to the pyranees next year.

We had an amazing experience with Basque Country Cycling from start to finish. Luis was great with coordination and super responsive to all our questions, while Fredy took care of the bikes and setup—everything was smooth and spot-on. They even suggested some great additions to our route that made the trip even more special. The gravel bikes and gear we rented were perfect for the Basque terrain. Just like the stunning hills and views, the BCC crew made the whole experience unforgettable. Huge thanks to Luis and Fredy—highly recommend if you’re planning a cycling trip in the region!

Can't recommend Luis and BCC enough. I booked a road bike over 2 days during the Easter holiday, and despite being closed for the weekend, Luis opened up the shop for specifically for me on a Saturday to get me my bike. He took the time to fit me to the bike, change out the pedals, gave me some beta on my Strava route (as this was my first time in Basque Country), and generally gave me a wonderful, welcoming vibe for the adventure ahead.

The bike (Giant Defy Advanced) was well-maintained and a pleasure to ride up to Col d'Ispeguy (Izpegi) from Donostia. The western foothills of the Pyrenees are a dream, with idyllic villages, few cars on country roads, welcoming cafes, and an obvious cycling culture. My time climbing through verdant pastoral landscapes past waterfalls, ruins, sheep, and well-placed springs was epic.

Can't wait to get back to that part of the world and set off on more adventures in Euskal Herria! Eskerrik asko, Luis!

I have rented bikes from Luis at Basque Country Cycling multiple times over the last 18months.
Road bike, endurance bike, gravel bikes.
Every time the bikes have been well maintained, and performed well.
Luis is super flexible: have changed pedals, saddles, timings at short notice.
Always get good advice on some beautiful routes with GPX files, plus good advice on other local businesses (bars/coffee stops/restaurants. Etc.
The workshop has also helped me find spares and repairs on my own road bike when I have travelled with that.
Truly outstanding business to match the beautiful Basque climbs.

Alquilé una bicicleta de carretera un par de dias con ellos para mi estancia en Zumaia, Luisma fué puntual, muy flexible me la acercó al alojamiento a un precio razonable, la comunicación con el fué facil y fluida y me dio buenos consejos para conocer la zona. La unica pega el precio del alquiler comparado con otras zonas en los que he alquilado, pero es que en la zona los precios son similares en el resto de empresas con las que contacté. En definitiva si necesito alquilar una bicicleta en San Sebastian o alrededores repetiré. Totalmente recomendables.
