This was a huge disappointment. I got a bike without the gearing I ordered. 30 cassette, not 34 as I ordered. This is a huge difference in the uphills on Tenerife. The brakes started whinging and the front brake-pads was on the iron, and started to smell in the first downhill. This is quite critical when you are on the northern part of the island, on really steep roads, with a guide that you have hired for this day. I brought the bike to the shop, and got a refund for the days I have rented it. BUT I HAD TO PAY FOR THE DAY I HAVE USED IT! Even though it was destroyed by a poorly maintained bike, with a dirty and dry chain, that made the gearing malfunction every now and then. My learning: Check the bike GOOD before you leave the rental shop. And never Bicisport Tenerife anymore. This was just not good enough.

Hired a road bike for two days. Day one: Pedal body was loose and so had to stop every few miles to tighten by hand. Day two: Half way up Tiede, rear brake failed (assuming fluid leak / lack of fluid). Front brake release spring catching disc so a worrying descent. Not a good experience.

Ho noleggiato una bici wilier zero 7 (rim brake) presentata come un vecchio top di gamma (montata dura ace) in quanto preferivo una bici leggera rispetto alle bici più recenti ma di fascia bassa: 1) La bicicletta aveva un nastro manubrio durissimo, ed era sporca.
2) Al momento del ritiro mi sono accorto che la ruota posteriore faceva persino fatica a girare e sono tornato al negozio per spiegare la cosa: sono intervenuti montandone una di un altra bici che era non era centrata ma almeno girava.
3) La settimana prima del noleggio avevo inviato le mie misure e mi è stato detto che facevano il possibile per regolarla: al ritiro era stata regolata solo l'altezza sella e mi è stata fornita una bici con manubrio in posizione per me scorretta di circa 20mm

Sapevo di noleggiare una bici datata, ma mi aspettavo che fosse in ordine...non sono stati professionali
