100% recomendable. Muy buena experiencia. He alquilado para 1 día y el personal, super amable, te asesora sobre el tipo de bici y el recorrido. Acerté al elegir el desarrollo (50_34 | 34-11) porque la ruta era exigente. El mecánico te prepara la bici a tu medida. Mecánica perfecta y calidad de las bicis 10, modelos nuevos. A mejorar la calidad del sillín, una pena este punto que tiene fácil mejora. ENHORABUENA por el equipo de tienda de Maspalomas, son todo facilidades. Gracias y hasta la próxima.

This morning (May 9th 2022) had a problem with my personal bike's brakes. Kindly asked for a screwdriver since I know how to fix out the issue. The lady informed me the mechanic was not there. I reply her I do not need a mechanic, just a screwdriver so I can repair it myself in less than 10 minutes. She ignored me and answered a phone call.
I assume, since I was not a profitable customer, I was simply ignored. Please note I would have paid for the the use of the item.
It might be an isolated case, but it is important to keep kindness and ethitcs, regardless customers needs and/or profile.
I cannot review their renting services, so If you dont mind ethics, this shop could be a good choice.
In case you believe we should support each other, you might consider this review.
As a proposal, I recommend the shop to consider the "biking code: today you support me, tomorrow I wil give you a hand".
Just an observation, nevertheless if tomorrow Free Motion Bikecenter would need my support in the middle of nowhere in the island, as a local islander I would still support them ;)

Esta mañana (9.mayo.2022) tuve un problema con los frenos de mi bicicleta. Pedí amablemente un destornillador ya que sé cómo solucionar el problema. La señora me informó que el mecánico no estaba allí. Le respondo que no necesito un mecánico, solo un destornillador para poder repararlo yo mismo en menos de 10 minutos. Ella me ignoró y respondió una llamada telefónica.
Supongo que, dado que no era un cliente rentable, simplemente me ignoró. Tengan en cuenta que habría pagado por el uso del destornillador.
Puede ser un caso aislado, pero es importante mantener la amabilidad y la ética, independientemente de las necesidades y/o perfil del cliente.
No puedo evaluar sus servicios de alquiler, por lo que si no te importa la ética, esta tienda podría ser una buena opción.
En caso de que creas que deberíamos apoyarnos mutuamente, puedes considerar esta revisión.
Como propuesta, les recomiendo el "código ciclista: hoy me ayudas, mañana te echo una mano".
A fin y al cabo es solo una observación, ya que si mañana Free Motion Bikecenter necesitara mi apoyo en medio de la nada en la isla, como canarión, aún les echaría una mano! ;)

Segundo año que alquilo bici con ellos y estoy encantado. El año pasado cogí una Specialliced Roubaix y este año una Cannondale. Me llevo también un mallot de Free Motion Gran Canaria super chulo y cómodo. Bicis top y bien cuidadas. Trato profesional y cercano. Auf Empfehlung eines Freundes bin ich zu Free Motion gegangen, um für drei Tage ein Rennrad zu mieten. Leider eine durchweg schlechte Erfahrung. Die Bedienung war offensichtlich desinteressiert, wirkte genervt und vermittelte klar, dass meine Anfrage eher lästig war. Servicegedanke: praktisch nicht vorhanden.

Ein passendes Rennrad war nicht verfügbar. Statt aktiv nach Lösungen zu suchen, musste ich selbst anregen, in anderen Filialen nachzufragen. Eigeninitiative seitens des Personals: null. Dort wurde ein Rad gefunden, allerdings viel zu teuer und komplizierte Abwicklung.

Dazu kommen aus meiner Sicht völlig unattraktive Preise. Für mich unverständlich, warum man hier mieten sollte – in der Umgebung gibt es deutlich bessere Anbieter mit echtem Service und netten Menschen!

I recently had an amazing experience with Free Motion Bikecenter in Gran Canaria, and I can’t recommend them highly enough!

I accidentally booked our eMTB bikes at the Las Palmas location instead of Maspalomas, which is much closer to our hotel. Luckily, Pepi at the shop was incredibly helpful — he quickly sorted out the reservation change and went out of his way to make things easy for us. He even inflated my son’s pool lilo, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture.

I also went on a 50km eMTB tour with Gianluca as our guide, and it was truly a highlight of the trip. Gianluca was professional, friendly, and super knowledgeable about the area. The route he led us on was both scenic and exciting — just the right mix of technicality and adventure, especially with the eMTBs.

If you’re in Gran Canaria and looking to ride, Free Motion is the place to go. The team is passionate, flexible, and genuinely welcoming.

Big thanks to Pepi and Gianluca — you both made the experience unforgettable!

I rented an e-road bike in 2023 whilst here on holiday and had a great time up in the mountains. The service was first class, and the bike was exceptionally well maintained.

I’d booked another e-road bike for this year but I’ve been suffering injury recently so talked myself out of it. Anyway, you know what it’s like, you walk in a bike shop and walk out substantially happier and poorer. Well i decided I’d rent an e-MTB this time as it’s easier going on my back, but I left all my kit at home, so bought new clothes, Oakleys, water bottle and nutrition bars. I’m such a sucker but why the hell not. You only live once right!! Collected the bike for Thursday and Friday and had an awesome time in the mountains again, back where I belong!! Had to call into the shop for a saddle change on Friday morning as it was a little on the firm side, but Fridays a$$ was a happier a$$ !!

The mechanic who works here, Ayrton, is absolutely amazing and sorted out my hydraulic disc brake issue after we flew out with our bikes. Very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and saved our cycling holiday! Would definitely use this shop again for repair work
