I had a great experience with SolyBike. Unlike many other shops in Calpe, they carry the Cannondale SuperSix Evo and Synapse models. I was lucky enough to get a nearly brand-new SuperSix Evo Gen 4 with Ultegra Di2, which was in perfect condition.
What really set them apart was the service. They installed my own 165mm crankset, saddle, and pedals—no questions asked, no extra cost, and no extra wait time. This kind of flexibility is rare and much appreciated.
Pricing is very competitive and essentially identical to other high-spec rental shops in the area. A major plus here is the efficiency—no queues at all, whereas some of the more 'famous' shops nearby often have long waits for pickup and return.
A few things to note:
1. They are officially closed on Sundays, but they were great about meeting me specifically to pick up the bike.
2. The bikes come with standard alloy wheels/tires. If you’re used to high speeds, they can feel a bit sluggish on the local descents. Since SolyBike doesn’t rent carbon wheels separately, I’d recommend renting a pair from another shop in town to really unlock the bike’s potential.
Overall, a solid, professional shop with top-tier gear and no-hassle service.

Había alquilado la bici en Altea y, al llegar a Calpe, tuve que parar porque el sillín estaba demasiado bajo. Entré en esta tienda y me hicieron el favor de ajustármelo enseguida. El señor fue muy amable y, además, a mi compañero le infló las ruedas porque las llevaba bastante bajas. Sin duda, un sitio muy recomendable si estás en Calpe, tanto por el trato como por la ayuda recibida.

The shop has an excellent selection of bikes and good stock. Unfortunately, the service isn’t very welcoming, which makes it less enjoyable to visit. A friendlier approach would really make this a fantastic bike shop

Alquilé una bicicleta de carretera eléctrica con ciertas dudas (nunca había llevado una). Y debo decir que he disfrutado un montón. Estoy muy muy contenta con el servicio, me entregaron la bicicleta completamente cargada y muy bien ajustada.
Recomiendo mucho solybike.

SolyBike have have mamy carbon performance road bijesz, but I rent simple electric bike with hub motor. At first it looked rather chip, but... it had quite strong motor, which easily managed 8% uphils, and with some bigger eforts event over 10%, It also had quite big battery, think it was about 800Wh, which allowed even about 90km with some steep uphills. Also it had MT200 Shimano brakes, with some stronger and bigger front brake disc, and allowed easy control on downhills and speeds much over 50kmh. Steel fork feal stable and have even some kind of comfort. I had a lot od realy nice rides.

Ich habe mir für eine Woche ein Rennrad ausgeliehen und könnte nicht zufriedener sein. Bei der Ausleihe bekommt man eine Karte mit 8 Routenempfehlungen, die alle sehr anspruchsvoll, aber empfehlenswert sind.

Das Rennrad war perfekt eingestellt und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Auch die Kommunikation im Vorfeld per E-Mail war unkompliziert.

Dank SolyBike hatte ich eine unvergessliche Zeit in Calpe!

Heel nette racefietsen gehuurd voor 5 dagen. Prijs/kwaliteit een heel goeie deal. Vlotte communicatie, stipt alle afspraken nagekomen. We kregen zelfs nog een lift naar het busstation nadat onze fietsen opgehaald waren. Super bedankt!
